THE EFFECT OF LOVE AND OPTIMISM ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR DIMENSIONS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON TURKEY AND JORDAN

The purpose of this paper is to explain the impact of love and optimism on the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). In addition, it aims to discover if there are significant differences between Turkish and Jordanian responses. This research is a quantitative study; to achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire with two parts, where the first part related to love and optimism which considered an independent variable, the second part related to five dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior which considered a dependent variable. The sample of this study is the academicians at Turkish and Jordanian universities. The researcher used SPSS version 20. to analyze the data of the survey. Finally, the results of the study found that love and optimism have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior dimensions (OCBDs) In addition, it found that there are significant differences between the responses of the academicians of Turkish and Jordanian universities at both of emotions and OCBDs.
